I have been trying to re-read Robert Hugh Benson’s 1907 novel “Lord of the World”.
Recommended by many Catholics including Pope Francis, this novel was able to foresee much of the crisis the Church is experiencing today.
As a writer and a Catholic, I also have some ideas in mind about the things we may see in a dystopic future.
These ideas are very raw, but I would like to share some of them with you today. I do not mean to make a prediction on this note.
Who knows what could and could not happen? All we can do is reflect upon the events happening around us and wonder how the world could be like in the years ahead.
