What Happens When God Finally Answers Your Prayers?

A brief reflection on the unfathomable goodness of God

What is God's answer to our prayers like? It is a mighty shower of blessings, a downpour so strong it is unstoppable when the right time comes.

For a long time, you may wander in dryness like a lost soul in the wilderness; losing every ounce of hope, not knowing how things could get any better.

But keep the faith! Don't let your apparent defeat keep you from pursuing God's will and doing what is right.

You may not see the answer immediately, but God does not sleep. He is ever watchful and aware of the needs and heartaches of His beloved child.

Hold on and pray for the grace to wait upon Him. Miracles still happen. And the Lord who died on the cross out of great love for you will never let you down!

The lyrics I wrote for this song aim to lift our hopes up to that moment when God has beautifully revealed His marvelous works and carried us through the fiercest storms. It is not easy to wait until the rain stops. But we must look forward to that day when God has finally blessed us with indescribable wonders after the rain!
