I am single; just as you and perhaps you are correct; after all of these years it might just be that I'm not cut out for or made for that love that exists between a man and a woman. Difficult as it might be to accept; that might just be the gist of it. Can I argue with that? I don't imagine. I could but it wouldn't change anything one iota. Is it fair that others have been given this (although just look at divorce rates and it might leas one to wonder if they're all that bad off) and not I" I guess I can't compare an apple and an orange although sometimes I feel like a lemon!! LOL!!

I can't say that I always feel it's fair. But one day in heaven, we'd all be single like the angels! Being single would be the norm then.

Another priestly friend of mine quoted a saintly figure who said that the measure of sorrow to which is meted out to us; so much will be the joy. Granted, I know that isn't entirely consoling while we're here on planet earth.
