I will add you to my daily rosary intentions; for Jocelyn to find her divine purpose; if it be to love a man with her entire being or to love everyone with whom she comes in contact in a God-ly manner. A Franciscan friar with whom I am acquainted tells me to be a 'loving person". I know that still doesn't alleviate that ache that we both; we all, feel to be connected to that one someone.

Granted, you may not bear a child but that does not mean that you cannot give all of the love within you (and I believe that you'd be willing to do so to the right man in an effort to assist him on his way home to heaven). Isn't that really the purpose of Christian marriage; for one spouse to assist the other on their walk home to God?

Hello Jo C!

I tend to believe that while God, alone, can fulfill all of our needs that we all; while we're here; need something or someone (not that we "own" anyone but I think you get the idea) that we can call our own; something to connect to and with.

A priest friend of mine cited a saintly figure who said something to the effect of that the measure of sorrow to which is meted out to us; likewise so will be the measure of joy and I realize that joy will not be in this life. Kind of make one wish that the time in this life; as beautiful as it is, would come to an end so as to taste that joy.

We don't know what would happen tomorrow or the days after that. Who knows? Maybe you can still meet a person to be with you in this life.

As would be the same for yourself but at the same time I am realistic. I am 59 years old and one begins to think that if it were to happen that it would have by now. Honestly, the vitality of youth and my best years are long behind me. I don't operate on any delusions of grandeur; as it were. Providence can accomplish anything but it isn't as if I am expecting it at this juncture.

Being a woman who may soon not be able to bear a child, I can somehow relate to what you mean.

Hello Jocelyn!

I am interested in the paid subscriber benefits and in becoming a paid subscriber. You mention writing (both email and letters) Could one's correspondence with you be solely through email (faster that way) and is there a limitation on how often one can send you a correspondence?

Thank you ever so much!!

Thank you,, dear lady. I must have missed that you made a reply to the other inquiry. I'm not on Twitter user and so, unfortunately, might have to wait until you might get things up and running.

Many thanks to you for taking the time and I would very much hope to be able to share some thoughts and get your input on the subject.
